The Gold Coast Summer Classic is an International Friendship Junior baseball tournament hosted on the Gold Coast. Since its inaugural year it has grown to one of the largest junior tournaments in South East Queensland (29 Teams and growing in 2020).
The 2022 Gold Coast Summer Classic will be held on the Gold Coast from Friday 7th – Sunday 9th January 2022.
The tournament will consist of teams in three age groups:
LL September 1 2009 – August 31 2011
JL September 1 2007 – 31 August 2009
SL September 1 2005 – 31 August 2007
Teams will compete twice a day in a Round Robin format and then move to classification games on the final tournament day. (Minimum 5 Games)
Pre and Post Tournament exhibition games may be organised at the request of travelling teams.
The GCBA recommends teams are limited to 12 Player rosters, exceptions can be requested for international and interstate teams.
